Solar PV system installed at KURDAMIR SIGIRLY COMMUNITY (Azerbaijan) water purifier was a part of charity project supported by ALTEN GROUP.

ALTEN GROUP is a company totally dedicated to alternative energy solutions. We produce, sell, install and service alternative energy equipments such as biogas reactors, solar water heaters, solar photovoltaic panels, solar powered street and garden lamps and wind turbines. ALTEN GROUP also pioneered in constructing green houses with a special cover. This cover saves up to 40 percent energy. Besides, ALTEN GROUP designs a hybrid wind-solar power house of 6 MgW. We are also local dealers of a number of foreign companies of the alternative energy equipment production. So far ALTEN GROUP is the sole producer of biogas reactors, which are of the sharp interest with the Azeri farm community. Biogas reactors make them get methane gas from a substance previously wasted, i.e. cow manure. ALTEN GROUP s’ biogas reactors are installed in villages of the Azeri part of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipe-line as a part of BP local employment for the pipeline safety project. City and town municipalities are interested in ALTEN Groups’ solar powered street lights with diode lamps, which save a huge amount of electricity required for street lighting otherwise budgeted from city vital funds.

CHARITY PROJECTS

Solar PV system installed at KURDAMIR SIGIRLY COMMUNITY (Azerbaijan) water purifier was a part of charity project supported by ALTEN GROUP. Considering strategic importance of the purifier, which supplies water to almost 5000, ALTEN GROUP decided to contribute to its lighting system. Now all indoor and facade lights are connected to the PV grid, partially relieving the office of electricity bill.

To say solar water heater, installed at Yevlax Nematabad kindergarten as yet another charity project from ALTEN GROUP drastically changed life of the staff, should be accepted literally. Washing dishes and laundry with cold water during wintry days of continental December – March is not at all pleasant, and ALTEN GROUPs solar water heater renders a good service of comfort and convenience to the Nematabad kindergarten.

Biogas reactors installed at the company’s expense at the Qakh bee farm and a Goranboy private farm are a good samples of inspiration for other farmers.
